Allison Schrager is part of a research team that enhances, customizes, and implements the algorithm that underlies the Managed DC solution. This effort involves extensive data analysis, development of new financial models, and rigorous testing. She has been in this role since 2007. Allison has consulted for the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the Bank of England on matters relating to individual retirement accounts. She also consulted for the OECD on promoting entrepreneurship.
Allison earned her Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University where she specialized in pension and saving issues. She also holds an M.A. from the University of Edinburgh. In her spare time since 2006, she has been a regular contributor to The Economist.
