Tom Goodrum joined Dimensional in 2012 as vice president and fixed income strategist. His role at Dimensional is to serve and support the firm's fixed income practice with respect to a broad range of the firm's clients.

Prior to joining Dimensional, Tom served in a variety of roles as a managing director at BlackRock, including serving as co-head of the tax-exempt client coverage team for the US and Canada, and as a senior relationship officer for numerous institutions in both countries. Before that, Tom was a managing director and principal at Wilshire Associates, and a founding investment and management committee member of its manager-of-managers practice. In addition, he served as president of the Wilshire Mutual Funds family and was on Wilshire's core bond and mid cap equity manager research committees and performed direct research on fixed income managers.

Tom earned a BA in political science at Davidson College in 1990 and an MBA at the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1994. He is a CFA Charterholder, having earned the designation in 1997.
