Now retired, Truman A. Clark served for years as a vice president and resident academic at Dimensional. An expert in statistics, he continues to conduct research on a variety of investment topics.
Before Dimensional, Truman worked for Wells Fargo Nikko Investment Advisors, William F. Sharpe Associates, and A.B. Laffer Associates. He was also a professor of finance at the University of Southern California and at the State University of New York, Buffalo. Truman's published works have appeared in the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and the Journal of Law and Economics.
Truman holds Ph.D. and MBA degrees from the University of Chicago and an A.B. degree from Princeton University. He served for two years as an officer in the US Army.
