As head of Financial Advisor Services for DFA Australia, Vanessa Bennett manages the team responsible for developing Dimensional's Australian and New Zealand financial advisor relationships. In this role, she educates advisors on modern portfolio theory, Dimensional's investment philosophy, as well as best practices to help advisors operate more profitable businesses.

Prior to joining Dimensional in 2004, Vanessa was an associate director with Macquarie Bank. During her eight-year tenure there, she played a major role in evaluating superannuation legislation and educating financial advisors about technical strategies and business development. Vanessa received her bachelor of business in accounting and finance from the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1995. She also earned a graduate diploma in applied finance and investment in 1999 and a graduate diploma in financial planning in 2002, both through the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
